Before the launch of the OnePlus 6T, there were reports the phone would come in a new purple color variant alongside the Mirror Black and Midnight Black variants. Unfortunately, there's no news on whether the colour variant will be coming to our shores. So far though, Thunder Purple was reportedly being listed on the OnePlus India official page.
Its predecessor, OnePlus 6 is available in four colour variants including white and red.
The handset comes in black with either a matte or a glossy finish and three memory varieties of 6GB RAM and 128GB Storage, 8GB RAM and 256GB storage and 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. Sorry the break bad news to you, but the company revealed the Thunder Purple paintjob will remain exclusive for China and now has no plans of bringing it to any other Western market, the USA included. The device also comes with dual cameras, although the secondary doesn't do much.
The other two memory options are also available in China - 6/128 GB is CNY3,399, while the 8/256 GB OnePlus 6T is CNY3,999, which is respectively $490/430 and $580/510. Up front, there's a 16-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture and fixed focus. As a reminder, the OnePlus 6T (including this model) features a 6.39-inch fullHD Optic AMOLED display, while a 3,700mAh battery is included in the package as well, and it is not removable. The overall experience of the OnePlus 6T is nearly unchanged, save for a few minor improvements like the smaller notch, larger battery, and in-display fingerprint sensor.
