Apple launched the MacBook Pro last July and the 13-inch MacBook Air on the recent October event. For comparison, the new iPad Pro can score as much as a 7th-gen Intel Core i7 processor in a quad-core configuration at 4.2GHz, while running at a much lower frequency.

A handful of the new A12X iPads on Geekbench clock up a single-core score of around 5,000 and a multi-core score of about 18,000.

Next up Apple will also unveil a "new-design" Apple Pencil for the updated iPad Pro hardware.

Apple executives unveiled the new iPad Pro models in two screen sizes - 11-inch and 12.9-inch on Tuesday 30 October in NY and revealed the new iPad Pro makeover, which would include some of the iPhone features. This development by Apple will empower iPad users to connect their iPad Pros to an external monitor, a DSLR and also even charge their smartphones with the help of reverse charging technology. It is the refresh to the premium range of tablet from the Cupertino tech giant.

So here we are, with a new iPad Pro to check out - one that's insanely powerful, with an overhauled design, an improved screen, and a slew of added extras.

Arguably the most popular reveal at the showcase, the brand new iPad Pro contains one of the largest ever screens seen on the device. "It's time for a new MacBook Air-one that takes the MacBook Air experience even further in the areas that are most important to our customers". Here are the critical details that professionals need to know about the iPad Pro 2018.

Starting from $1,199, the MacBook Air has had the spec upgraded after years of neglect that had prompted some to believe Apple had consigned the laptop to the scrapheap. The 256 GB variant of the device now comes for Rs 1,19,000, while the 512 GB variant will be tagged Rs 1,49,000. The computer is reportedly 10 per cent thinner than its earlier edition. But here I put the blame on project managers; if you're introducing new software in 2018, and it doesn't work natively on mobile devices, then go back to tender and quit your job. It's five-times faster. Now, the Mac Mini has quad- and 6-core processors, up to 64GB of memory and an all-flash storage that is blisteringly-fast.

So, if you have no warranty, fix of the 12.9-inch version will cost $650.

Apple's new MacBook Air is available for pre-order today, with shipping on 7 November. Taking the iPad Pro price structure as a basis for this, an iPhone XS with 1TB of storage would come in at $1,849.
