Triple H Injured at WWE Crown Jewel, Reportedly Needs Surgery

Dave Meltzer reported in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE Hall of Famers Hulk Hogan and Jimmy Hart are now in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for the Crown Jewel pay-per-view event. Unlike the previous event (WWE Greatest Royal Rumble), Crown Jewel has needed the WWE to clarify their position on hosting of event in Riyadh following the killing of a journalist allegedly by the Saudi government.

WWE Kickoff pre-show: Rusev vs. WWE United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura. He and his D-Generation X partner, Triple H, faced off against the Brothers of Destruction, Kane and The Undertaker, for the first time in WWE history. Cena was replaced in the World Cup match by Bobby Lashley on Monday night's WWE Raw.

With Crown Jewel now just hours away, the final betting odds for the show have been released, revealing who will win the title matches on the main show, as well as the D-Generation X vs The Brothers of Destruction, and the eventual victor of the World Cup tournament. The WWE Championship went to A.J. Styles after a riveting stand-off with Samoa Joe.

SmackDown Tag Team Championship: The Bar vs. There will be a one-hour Kickoff Show beginning on Friday morning at 10CT/11ET. SmackDown Live is represented by Jeff Hardy vs The Miz and Rey Mysterio vs Randy Orton.
