The new OnePlus 6T has a smaller "teardrop" like notch with earpiece located in the bezel above it. The first 100 pre-order customers will get one-year extended warranty and a RM200 rebate on the OnePlus Bullet Wireless Headphones.

Speaking about the new feature, at the launch North America Region and Global Marketing, Kyle Kiang, said: "We have been thinking about what low light photography actually means".

OnePlus 6T, as the name suggests, is an upgrade to the OnePlus 6.

The OnePlus 6T will be available in 33 countries with general availability starting November 1 - the device itself will be usable on 233 carriers in 74 countries and that includes CDMA stalwart Verizon in the United States. OnePlus 6T Launch Offers: Jio Offering Rs 5,400 Cashback; Rs 2,000 Instant Discount & More. While the older phone started with the base variant sporting 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, the OnePlus 6T bumps up the storage to 128GB even on the base variant, while retaining RAM at 6GB. In terms of variants, the phone will be available in 3 versions depending on the storage capacity and RAM offered. The smartphone brings an updated design language such as a waterdrop display and an in-display fingerprint sensor, while keeping most of the hardware similar to the OnePlus 6. However, considering that the phone sports a almost edge-to-edge screen, the sensor is now under the phone's display and works by the user placing their finger on the screen to unlock the phone. OnePlus says you can unlock the screen with a registered digit in only 0.34 seconds. Also, if you finance the device from T-Mobile, you will be unable to unlock the bootloader until you pay off the device. The sensor has been placed under the screen, which puts OnePlus 6T in league with the likes of Oppo Find X, Oppo R17, Xiaomi Mi 8 Explorer, Huawei Mate 20 Pro, and Vivo NEX.

While the size of the screen on the 6T has increased, albeit slightly, the size of the notch has done the opposite.

The OnePlus 6T sees an upgrade in the battery department, with a larger 3,700mAh battery under the hood.

This new tech means the handset is slightly thicker and heavier than the OnePlus 6, but otherwise, the design remains largely unchanged; the 6T comes crafted nearly entirely from glass and it will be available in Mirror Black and Midnight Black colour options. Both the devices support fast charging technology and come with Dash chargers and the battery are non-removable. The OnePlus 6T takes the second spot which was previously held by Xiaomi black shark just behind the ASUS ROG Phone topping the charts.

The OnePlus 6T has the same dual-camera system on the back embedded in the frosted or mirror glass back.
