On Wednesday, Big Willy went to Instagram with the new Disney flick's first poster.

Walt Disney Pictures just released the first trailer for Guy Ritchie's live-action adaptation of Aladdin, based on the Arab-style folktale-and, of course, the animated film of the same name.

In the 1992 film, this is where Aladdin finds the lamp: Atop a tower of stones in the middle of a lake of lava in the Cave of Wonders. With nothing else to go on, I'm not sure if I'm excited for not, but I would like to see Will Smith acting all insane as the Genie. As we all know, Aladdin is that diamond in the rough. It features the film's iconic lamp and a secret about what awaits inside it, as well as the warning "Choose wisely". Naomi and Mena looked flawless as Princess Jasmine and Aladdin.

The "Aladdin" remake also stars Mena Massoud as Aladdin, Naomi Scott as Jasmine and Marwan Kenzari as Jafar. The late Robin Williams voiced the legendary Genie character in one of his most memorable roles.

Opening May 24th 2019, Aladdin will be followed by another live-action Disney remake in July the same year as Jon Favreau is set to unleash Lion King. The producer is Dan Lin (The LEGO Movie) with Golden Globe victor Marc Platt (La La Land), Jonathan Eirich (Death Note) and Kevin De La Noy (The Dark Knight Rises) serving as executive producers.
