Realme 2 pro with Waterdrop Notch and Snapdragon 660 launched in India

The Realme 2 Pro is a major upgrade over the Realme 2 which went official in India a few months back. It will be available exclusively on Flipkart from October 11, 00:00 Hours onwards. While, the mid-level variant having 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage is priced at Rs 15,990. However, the colour options provided by Realme 2 Pro are undoubtedly eye-catchy as the colour options include Black Sea, Ice Lake, and Blue Ocean.

Realme C1 is a budget smartphone sporting a 6.20 inch HD+ with a notch display with 1520*720p resolution and 19:9 screen aspect ratio. The SD 660 is also supported by Qualcomm's Artificial Intelligence Engine (AIE) which lends some special capabilities to an already powerful SoC. A dewdrop notch has been placed at the top of the display which houses the front camera.

The RealMe 2 Pro runs on Android 8.1 OS and comes with a 3500 mAh battery.

Oppo's online only brand Realme held an event at Amity University, Noida to launch its two new smartphones dubbed as Realme 2 Pro and Realme C1.

Realme announced a surprisingly affordable price tag for the smartphone's variants.

If we talk about Realme 2 Pro's design, it has a slim bezels and a glossy back panel.

The Realme 2 Pro comes with a dual rear camera setup. The smartphone is otherwise expected to have the same design language as the Realme 2.

The front facing camera is also different on the Realme C1-a 5MP clicker instead of the 8MP selfie camera on the Realme 2.

Supported by 14 nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 mobile platform coupled with Adreno 560 GPU and 2GB RAM. A 3,500mAh battery is also included in the package, while there are two SIM card slots available inside the Realme 2 Pro.

In terms of camera, it gets a dual rear camera setup with a 16MP primary camera with f/1.7 aperture, 1.12μm pixels, and a 2MP secondary depth camera. This handset has just been announced in New Delhi, India, and Realme actually refers to it as its flagship offering, even though it's technically a mid-range smartphone. The Snapdragon 660's high-performance cores run at 2.2GHz, but Realme has underclocked the Snapdragon 660's high-performance cores on the Realme 2 Pro to 2.0GHz. The top-end variant, which packs 8GB of RAM, is priced at ₹17,990 ($248).
