It sports a translucent dark blue console shell that barely lets you see inside, as well as a matching DualShock 4 controller.

While the 500 Million Limited Edition DualShock 4 does come with the system, it can also be purchased as a standalone item for $64.99.

We're sure that means an increase in the weekly allocation of champagne at Sony HQ, but for ordinary gamers there's a different way to celebrate: buying the new PlayStation 4 Pro 500 Million Limited Edition console. According to the PlayStation blog the PS4 Pro 500 Million Limited Edition release date is August 24 with a price of Euro 499 (roughly Rs. 39,730). Like the console, these two accessories will be a dark, translucent blue with copper accents.

The PlayStation brand has sold over 500 million consoles, and Sony is celebrating with perhaps their prettiest PS4 model ever.

Pre-orders for the PS4 Pro will be available in Europe on August 14 from retailers including Amazon UK, Game, Smyths, ShopTo, and Very.

Furthermore, the PS4 500 Million Limited Edition DualShock 4 controller and headset will be sold separately for Euro 64 (around Rs. 5,000) and Euro 89 (around Rs.7,100). (The PlayStation logo also appear in copper on the system.) On the plate is your console's specific limited edition serial number on it, so you know which of the 50,000 units it is. Not only that, but it adds a 2TB hard drive, PlayStation Camera, and Vertical Stand. Examples include 09995 (Sept. 9th, 1995, US PlayStation launch), 01115 (Nov. 15, 2013, US PS4 launch) and 01013 (Oct. 13, 2016, US PS VR launch). But hey, if anyone's willing to toss me $500, I'll be happy to pick up one and show it off for you. Theyll go for $500/€500 starting August 24.
