"We do not have any plans to announce Diablo for Switch". Though that's not the only possibility, it's not an unlikely scenario.

We've had numerous leaks, including job postings, in the past seemingly confirming a new Diablo game was now in production, but this is the first time we've had concrete proof directly from the developers themselves. "None of this would be possible without the support that you've shown us for over 20 years". We've known for quite some time that Blizzard has been hiring for a mysterious Diablo-related project.

Camel mentioned that some of the projects will take longer than others, but Blizzard hopes to have some things to show fans later this year. As for when the big reveal will happen, BlizzCon is set for November 2 - 4 in sunny California!

Diablo III first launched back in 2012 for the PC, before it headed over to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2013.

Blizzard released a new video today from its official channel detailing what lies ahead for the Diablo series, with Blizzard associate community manager Brandy Camel highlighting what's in store for the beloved action-RPG series in the future. You can find out more about that directly from Blizzard while you hack and slash away the hours in hot anticipation of whatever's next.
