Rangers return to action on Thursday as they take on Maribor in the Europa League third qualifying round. Linked last night with a move for Dinamo Zagreb striker Armin Hodzic, Rangers are seeking a hefty sell-on clause before agreeing to sell the former Accrington Stanley attacker.

According to a report from the Daily Mail, Rangers have received a seven-figure bid from Ipswich Town for Josh Windass, with the Championship side reportedly looking at the Gers forward as a potential replacement for Martyn Waghorn.

RANGERS are today delighted to confirm the signing of Croatian worldwide full-back Borna Barišić from NK Osijek on a four year deal.

The 25-year-old, who scored with a deflected strike in the second leg in Govan, penned a four-year deal with Gerrard's side on Tuesday.

He has managed three appearances for his country Croatia and was shortlisted in the country's 32-man preliminary squad for the World Cup in Russian Federation, but failed to make the final cut.

'This club will give me a chance to play for the national team again, ' said Barisic. I'm really excited to play with him again.

"I want to give everything back to the fans who have sent me so many messages, and I need to pay back the manager and everyone in the club who has believed in me".

Gerrard's signing Jon Flanagan now looks like being first-choice left-back, leaving Declan John in the cold.

He started his career at Swansea's bitter rivals Cardiff City and rose through the youth ranks with the Bluebirds.
