For example, a viral video shows a fight break out after a manager of a McDonalds caught a customer filling up her water cup with soda.
According to the Nevada resident, the chaotic scenes ignited when a customer asked for a free cup of water before attempting to use it at the self-service soft drink machine. The woman, who has not been publicly identified, can be seen in a video shot by Instagram user Marie Dayag, whose Instagram name is bxbyness.
The worker grabs the woman, who is wearing just a small black tank top and gray shorts, and starts pounding her head on a table. Another employee joins in. The fight breaks out after the customer hurls a milkshake at the employee.
McDonalds employee hit customer over free milkshake.
Another worker, wearing a blue shirt, in the long run limits the battered benefactor yet gets an elbow in the face for her exertion.
At one point the staff member can be heard shouting 'my momma aint dead, you respect my momma, ' though it is not clear what this is in reference to. "I guess I'm a world star now!" she said in a follow-up video.
The video was posted to social media with a caption about what started the fight.
The customer has been charged with battery over the incident while it is believed Chavolla kept her job. "I wasn't even going to hit her but I get it, that's a big girl is coming towards you, you're going to panic, you freak out", she said.
The fight eventually ends when the customer seems to realize it's a battle she isn't going to win.
McDonald's said it 'does not condone the behavior depicted.' DailyMail.com has also reached out to Las Vegas police, but has not received a response.
The customer also picks up a chair and makes as if she is about to hit the employee, but is quickly disarmed having apparently given up all hope of winning.
A few more angry words are exchanged but no more punches are thrown before the footage cuts out.
