‘Collusion Is Not a Crime’

Hacking is the crime.

After showing a video clip of Giuliani saying that, "Late Night" host Seth Meyers declared, "Nothing makes me happier than imagining Donald Trump personally doing the hack".

Giuliani added that he had said Trump wasn't in the room for that meeting because there were in fact two different meetings.

Trump launched his new attack hours before his former campaign chairman, Paul Manafort, was due to go on trial on tax and bank fraud charges in Virginia.

"Giuliani's comments follow former FBI Director James Comey's assertion during a CNN town hall in April that, "[Collusion]"is not actually a thing that exists under the federal laws of the United States".

The former NY mayor and federal prosecutor echoed a sentiment he expressed earlier in the day on "Fox and Friends".

"Collusion is a crime".

The others, Giuliani explained, are recordings where Cohen is speaking with third parties and describing his version of what happened in regard to payments to McDougal and adult film star Stormy Daniels, who has also said she had an affair with Trump before his election as president.

"I don't even know if that's a crime, colluding about Russians".

"Collusion is not a crime, but that doesn't matter because there was No Collusion (except by Crooked Hillary and the Democrats)!".

Mueller, 14 months into his probe, has secured guilty pleas from a handful of Trump aides for lying to investigators about their links to Russia and indicted 12 Russian military intelligence officials for allegedly hacking into the computers of Democratic officials supporting Clinton and releasing their emails through WikiLeaks. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) wrote on Twitter on Monday, citing a reference in the federal code.

Donald Trump continues to deny Russian Federation had any involvement in his 2016 US Presidential campaign. "This is a theater of the absurd", Giuliani said.

To which Mr Giuliani replied: "OK, I stay one more time". Trump's lawyer has said he expects Mueller to file a report by September 1.

"There's not any evidence of any collusion here involving our client and the Russians", Sekulow told Fox, adding that he and his team of lawyers had looked through 1.4 million documents related to the Trump campaign and the special counsel investigation.
