Real Madrid are preparing to submit a £150million transfer offer for Eden Hazard.

Despite stating that he wants to return to England with a 'winning feeling' following an exceptional showing at the World Cup, there is still a possibility that Thibaut Courtois could leave Chelsea this summer.

Hazard has just two years left on his current deal at the Stamford Bridge.

Nevertheless, losing a player of his talent would be a devastating blow to the Blues and arriving manager, Maurizio Sarri.

Terreur wrote on Twitter: "There have been contacts between Barcelona and Eden Hazard, but no negotiations - a very expensive operation that they can't afford at the moment".

Without him in the side, it's hard to see where Chelsea's creativity and guile would come from.

Kristof Terreur, the expert on Belgian players plying their trade in the Premier League, has revealed that while Barca have made contact, they're in no position to afford him.

Daily Mail reports that Real Madrid have prepared a £150m offer which they will table in the coming weeks.

The Spanish giants are trying to rebuild after selling Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus but they have set their sights on a couple of other stars that could transform the club.

Hazard now has 2 more years left on his contract at Chelsea, but according to the report, the Belgian still hasn't put pen to paper on a £300,000-per-week contract extension, thus prompting people to believe that his move to Madrid might just happen this summer.
