For more on Apple's new and improved MacBook Pro, starting at $1,799 Dollars (13-inch) and $2,399 USD (15-inch), follow to the company's website.

Are you a techie who knows how to write? And with good reason, the new keyboard design Apple introduced on its late 2016 MacBook Pro lineup has been widely derided for being frustratingly unreliable.

Intel's 8th-generation Coffee Lake processors have finally made it onto the MacBook Pro after months of lag time behind its competitors. Turbo Boost takes that up to 4.5GHz.

The new models are available in silver or space gray now online and in Apple's retail stores. There's the new AMD Radeon Pro chip with 4GB of video memory. That's enough to make external storage redundant.

Macs: Kuo claims that the MacBook, MacBook Pro and iMac are all slated for upgrades this fall, presumably with Intel's latest eighth-generation Core processors. They run at up to 2.7 GHz, with up to 4.5 GHz Turbo Boost. It features an Intel Iris Plus integrated graphics 655 paired with 128MB of eDRAM. The company said in a press release that the 15-inch model is up to 70 percent faster, while the 13-inch model is twice as fast. These include more watch faces as well as improved health tracking features. You now get to be more competitive with the new Competition mode on WatchOS 5.

Apple has announced upgrades for its 13 and 15-inch MacBook Pro notebooks.

Kuo had no new updates for upcoming iPhone models. It also includes a new Shortcuts feature.

One of those is "Hey Siri" voice recognition. The T2 does a lot more, most notably providing on-the-fly storage encryption and providing a secure boot process. The slim design is supposed to cut down on bulk, but consumers report its keys are prone to stick and break easily - they can even be flummoxed by a single piece of dust, as was the case for The Outline's Casey Johnston.

Apple launches new iPhones in September. Now, it's turning up on a Mac for the first time.

The new Pro is ideal for manipulating large data sets, performing complex simulations, creating multi-track audio projects or doing advanced image processing or film editing. The goal is that colors are more accurate - helped by the fact that Apple's DCI-P3 compliant displays are already strong - and whites still look like white, regardless of the lighting conditions.

But if you're nostalgic like I am, it's not going to be easy saying goodbye to one of the best MacBooks ever.

The screens and Touch Bars on these notebooks now incorporate Apple's True Tone display technology to shift white points in response to ambient lighting.

Note the differences in the two "butterfly" keyboard designs. This is something which was previously exclusive to 12-inch MacBook users, the Leather Sleeve. Apple had said it was not a safety issue and had offered worldwide free replacement for such batteries.

Technically, Apple has admitted only that "a small percentage of the keyboards in certain MacBook and MacBook Pro models" have demonstrated the sticky key issue. It's just that it focuses on sound more than anything else. Or quieter typing because you've had to move to an iPad?

Just as notable as what Apple has changed for its 2018 refresh are the things that have stayed the same.

A new low-cost Apple laptop. It comes with up to 32GB of DDR4 memory and carries powerful Radeon Pro graphics. Although neither model's configuration page is live yet, expect eye-watering prices if you start ticking option boxes.
