World and Final Fantasy crossover continues, with Final Fantasy's buff Behemoth dropping into the game this summer.
That's right, the two games have been mashed together into a pulpy mix, giving us what Square Enix and Capcom wants us to think is the best of both worlds, quite literally.
Final Fantasy XIV is Getting a Monster Hunter World Crossover This Summer
Now the other half of the crossover has been revealed with the denizens of Monster Hunter: World facing off against the Behemoth this summer. The event will see Palico companions, as well as Rathalos monsters, added to fight in the MMO. You must purchase Final Fantasy XIV, create a character, level them up to 70, and complete the main quest "Stormblood". A trailer was shown looking at how the creature looks in Final Fantasy XIV, as well as showing a Felyne and some Monster Hunters.
Square Enix revealed that Final Fantasy XIV will have a crossover event with Monster Hunter: World today during its 2018 Electronic Entertainment Expo presentation in Los Angeles. The live stream will begin June 12 at 11:00 AM PDT.
