Control is directed by Quantum Break director Mikael Kasurinen, and at a glance it certainly seems like some lineage is shared with that game, including in technology. Control is a third-person action-adventure game combining Remedy's trademark gunplay with supernatural abilities.
The teaser trailer features a female protagonist going through various, mega trippy locations in a very brief teaser. Taking place in NY after a secretive agency is invaded by an otherworldly threat, players will take on the role of Jesse Faden, the new Director struggling to regain Control.
Remedy Entertainment and 505 Games, have unveiled the first official details and screenshots for their highly anticipated game, previously known only by its codename, "P7".
The game was announced as part of Sony's E3 2018 press conference, so it's safe to assume it'll be coming to PS4, though whether or not it'll also arrive on other platforms is unknown. It promises long-lasting, story-centric gameplay and the deepest game mechanics yet in a Remedy title.
Control will release sometime next year for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
