A brand new Metro Exodus gameplay trailer has been revealed at E3 2018, detailing more of the upcoming sequel's story. Developed by 4A games, the game is similar to its forerunners in the Metro series in that it's a first-person shooting survival horror game set in post-apocalyptic Russian Federation.
Metro has been a staple in the post-apocalyptic genre, and when Metro Exodus was announced in 2017, people were reasonably excited. Initially delayed until the later year, the title is sporting a February 23, 2019 release date, which then players will again jump into the shoes of the ranger, Artyom. The game makes you feel like you're trying to survive with hand crafted weapons which by the way you can upgrade by scavenging materials.
In the trailer we see the barren nuclear winter wastelands of Volga, while a deranged cult leader narrates over it.
Today is Microsoft's media briefing and there is a lot to report on, including the exciting new addition to the Metro series, titled Metro: Exodus.
