Other than that, Kojima has also introduced two new characters through the new trailer.

Following the spectacular gameplay reveal of Death Stranding at Sony Interactive Entertainment's press conference, the house of PlayStation sent in an official press kit with a batch of screenshots of the game. One of them is played by French actress, Lea Seydoux which many might have noticed from James Bond's Spectre as well as Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol. The game features some huge Hollywood talent that also includes Guillermo del Toro and Mads Mikkelson. And I've grown to like her even more through our work together.

Death Stranding's newest trailer just dropped, and as expected, it's a doozy.

"Out of necessity for our game, we undertook the process of recreating Lindsay's younger self from her recent 3D scan data". Am I still fascinated by the performance art that Hideo Kojima makes people watch every year? Yes. "Her charm transcends time and generations".

Kojima Productions, Kojima's own development studio, is developing Death Stranding, and it will star Norman Reedus.

Even though Death Stranding's gameplay isn't a total mystery any more, we definitely left the presentation with more questions than answers - so I'll count that as a win in terms of the good ol' Kojima weirdness equation. Although they have been entertaining and led to lots of theorizing, the trailers haven't exactly shown us what this game will really look like or play like.
