Anthony Bourdain’s daughter, 11, in concert days after his death

'They won't be shipping his remains back for a couple of days because of formalities, ' Gladys Bourdain told the New York Post.

Anthony Bourdain's ex shared a photo of their daughter on Sunday, commending the 11-year-old for her bravery and strength after her father died by suicide last week.

"She was awesome. So strong and fearless", the proud mom captioned the photo.

"The world would not be better off without you", she said in a now-deleted video posted to social media. Busia, a mixed martial arts fighter, spoke about her relationship with Bourdain in a 2012 interview with The New York Times. I'm going to bed when my nine-year-old decides to go to bed.

He revealed that he had overcome raging addictions to heroin and cocaine in the 1980s, but that he also became "aimless and regularly suicidal" when his first marriage to Nancy Putkoski failed in 2005, Page Six reported. McGowan says Argento "did the work to get help, so she could stay alive" for her kids, but "Anthony's depression didn't let him, he put down his armor, and that was very much his choice".

Bourdain met Argento in 2016 while shooting an episode of Parts Unknown in Rome. He was my love, my my protector.

Authorities said the cook, writer and host of the CNN series "Parts Unknown" killed himself Friday in a luxury hotel in France's eastern Alsace region. "I am beyond devastated".

CNN issued a statement along with the report after breaking the news to the world, stating, "It is with extraordinary sadness we can confirm the death of our friend and colleague, Anthony Bourdain, his love of great adventure, new friends, fine food and drink and the remarkable stories of the world made him a unique storyteller". My thoughts are with his family.

The actress continued: "I write these truths because I have been asked to".
