We've seen the first J3 and J7 back in 2016 and 2017 models were also released.
"The J3 has a bright, 5.0" HD display that's ideal for watching hit movies and the latest TV shows.
The Samsung Galaxy J7 features a decent 5.5-inch HD camera, 13MP selfie camera with F1.9 aperture, 13MP rear with F1.7, and a large battery. Both handsets come with HD displays, though surprisingly, none of them tout the company's taller Infinity Display. Samsung is yet to reveal the processor and battery details but claims that it will feature a long-lasting battery.
Senior Galaxy J7 (2018) is a 5.5-inch panel with AMOLED-matrix with a resolution of 1280 by 720 pixels, as well as the main and front cameras of 13 MP (f/1.9). The Samsung Galaxy S9 actually comes in second place, also listed at 2.6 percent. The Galaxy Note 9 phablet is expected to make its debut within a couple of months.
Samsung announced the all-new Galaxy J3 and J7 will roll out through select retail and carrier partners starting in early June and throughout the summer.
"The J3 delivers high-quality features at a great price and the J7 with its huge HD screen and unbelievable, advanced camera, is built for users who want more", says Justin Denison, Samsung Electronics America's SVP of Mobile Product Strategy and Marketing. However, it bears noting that last year's Galaxy J7 shipped with identical specs on both cameras.
Having a physical button might also be the next viable step, considering Samsung's increased focus on the camera performance of its flagships smartphone. Samsung has not revealed the pricing of these new smartphones or revealed their complete specifications as yet.
