(G.N.S) DT.17 Irrfan Khan, who is reportedly in the United Kingdom for the treatment of his rare disease - neuroendocrine tumor, has returned to Twitter after a brief hiatus. Amidst health issues, the versatile actor returned to Twitter nearly after two months.
Karwaan marks the Bollywood debut of popular Malayalam actor Dulquer Salmaan, who is best known for his appearances in films OK Kanmani and Charlie. My best wishes to Dulquer Salman, Mithila Palkar for joining the Karwaan.
While posting the poster on his Twitter account, Irrfan wrote alongside, "Beginnings have the innocence that experience can't buy". Two karwaans.... Mine and the movie!
Replying to his tweet nearly within an hour, an elated Dulquer tweeted, "Thank you so much sir!"
Here's wishing Irrfan a speedy and healthy recovery! Rapper and singer Baadshah also replied to Irrfan's tweet and wrote, "So happy to see you back sir!"
While there is still no update on Khan's health, for the first time since 16 March, the actor has posted a tweet.
In the latest statement, Irrfan's spokesperson said, "This latest round of news being spread through social media in the last few days about Irrfan's health is absolutely false and there's no truth to it whatsoever". Irrfan tweeted about the poster and got philosophical about the tagline of the film.
Ronnie Screwvala's upcoming venture 'Karwaan's newly released poster showcases the lead actors, all smiles while embarking on a journey. However, a Vishal Bhardwaj film with Deepika Padukone is on halt, as the filmmaker is waiting for Irrfan to recuperate from his ailing health.
