The series takes a behind-the-scenes look at training camp.

The Browns have renewed optimism following the recent draft. Despite annually finishing among the worst teams in the NFL, Cleveland has some intrigue entering 2018's season after selecting Baker Mayfield No. 1 overall and completely overhauling its roster.

Hard Knocks will largely pick up where Behind Baker left off.

The Cleveland Browns will reportedly be featured in the HBO series "Hard Knocks", which follows along National Football League teams during the offseason preparations.

It will be the first time the Browns, who finished 0-16 past year under coach Hue Jackson, will appear on the series, which is airing for the 13th time.

An official announcement will be made later Thursday, said the person who spoke on condition of anonymity because the team hasn't revealed its decision.

Only six teams were eligible for "Hard Knocks" this summer. Last year's series featuring the Tampa Bay Buccaneers won a Sports Emmy for "Outstanding Serialized Sports Documentary".
