We certainly hope to get them before the year is up, however, because fans are going to be clamoring for more of the Bluths after this appetizer of eight episodes that will likely be devoured in less than three hours when it is released. In anticipation of the impending release, the Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt season 4 trailer has arrived, and it's predictably silly.

While that unfortunate news may come as a surprise, it's actually becoming a common occurrence with Netflix series, as comedies The Ranch and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt are both splitting their upcoming seasons. The first halves of "Arrested Development" and "Kimmy Schmidt" will make it just in time for Emmy consideration for this television year.

The trailer for season 5, which comes five years after the Bluth family last graced our screens, shows a new and improved family - so improved, in fact, that they're apparently receiving the Family of the Year award (that they're giving themselves). It's something Netflix has also been doing with a few of its other original comedies, including Arrested Development. (Jeffrey Tambor), his mother Lucille (Jessica Walter), his brothers George Oscar Bluth II (Will Arnett), Buster Bluth (Tony Hale) and sister Lindsay Funke (Portia de Rossi), and Lindsay's husband Tobias (David Cross) and their daughter Maeby (Alia Shawkat).

Prior to the rollout of the fifth season, series creator Mitch Hurwitz released a "remixed" version of the fourth season, which cut the original's 15 single-character chapters into 22 interwoven episodes.
