"It's such a blessing to be able to pay homage to and celebrate the music of a creative genius like Prince", said Shawn Gee, president of Live Nation Urban.

Posthumously, it makes a lot of sense that his greatest songs would be perfectly suited to an orchestral arrangement - and that's what's happening this fall.

In addition, each show will feature a live band with world-class musicians and vocalists who will perform alongside the orchestra.

Live Nation Urban and TCG Entertainment will bring their newest production, "4U: A Symphonic Celebration of Prince", to Norfolk's Chrysler Hall on Tuesday, September 11.

Each show will also feature a live band including incredible musicians and vocalists who will perform alongside the orchestra. This is the first major tour the estate has approved, as they've been particularly selective about licensing and streaming agreements. A full symphony orchestra will present Prince's hits and deep cuts "like never before" in this estate-approved show, and a live band "including incredible musicians and vocalists" will play alongside the orchestra.

Philadelphia fans will unfortunately have to travel to see the show, which wasn't booked here. The tour will hit major cities like Dallas, Brooklyn, Chicago, Houston after kicking off in New Jersey this September.
