Google has already announced that the OnePlus 6 will support Android P beta version ahead of the full public release. However, the update now is rolling out to the beta users only. Today, the company has launched new beta updates for last year's OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T. On the flip side, OnePlus continues to deliver small updates to both of its previous flagships, which add new features and improvements on a regular basis. The OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T are getting Open Beta 10 and Open Beta 8, respectively. This update finally adds Group MMS feature inside the "Message" app. The update also brings some general bug fixes and stability improvements.

One of the major highlights of the latest update is the introduction of an optimized user interface for OnePlus switch applications. For people who don't know what a OnePlus switch is, it is basically a feature found on all OnePlus phones, which basically makes it easy for users to switch from their current phone to a OnePlus device.

The Launcher App has now an added Toolbox Card in shelf along with a hidden space in app drawer. Talking about operating system updates, the OnePlus 6 is confirmed to get the latest Android P soon. With the new update, OnePlus Switch will now explain the user the logic behind the time remaining for the transfer of data. The OnePlus launcher now offers support for editing dynamic icons such as weather, clock and calendar.

However, the open beta software update is not being rolled out over the air and the Chinese smartphone maker has posted all the instructions to be followed for flashing the device on the download page.
