Hazard warns Chelsea chiefs: We must buy good players

Eden Hazard's future at Chelsea is dependent on the club making major signings this summer, with the player waiting to ensure they bring in enough quality to compete for the Premier League title next season before committing his future to the club. "In my opinion he's the best player in the league, I've said that since my first day here", Herrera told The Big Interview with Graham Hunter.

And with the Blues finishing fifth in the Premier League this season to miss out on Champions League football, rumours about the Belgium star leaving have intensified.

Hazard acknowledges this is likely his last lucrative, long-term deal.

Anyway, Don Balon claim that Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City and Bayern Munich are all in the running to land Hazard, who is believed to be on his way out of Stamford Bridge.

"That's why I'm taking my time", he said.

"Yeah, [I have to think about] a lot of things, and then we will see. One thing I'm sure is that I'm happy here".

But he is expected to lead Chelsea's attack against Manchester United in the final of the FA Cup at the Wembley stadium. "It's the last game of the season, that's it". But, for me in my mind, I'm here. Saturday is a massive game.

Hazard, 27, has endured a hard campaign as Antonio Conte's men failed to retain their league title, while also falling short of a Champions League qualification place as well.

They played with confidence and power against Antonio Conte's side in February and Hazard, without having a designated marker, was nullified as a result. "We're just focusing on the game". I have one week to play now.

'You can see when he receives the ball he knows always what to do. "That's it", Hazard said. We have not qualified for the Champions League.

"We can't be in the Champions League next season so we need to win a trophy". After the World Cup we will be ready for the next season. I hope this year is for me. So, we will give everything.

Chelsea and Hazard face a familiar foe in Jose Mourinho, who had two spells as Blues boss. We all know that.

"If we want to stop him we need it from all of us, like we did at Old Trafford", he said. "It was not a good performance".

Hazard has also had his ups and downs this year.

Courtois' future is in doubt.

Bale has been linked with a switch away from Real Madrid recently after he struggled for both form and fitness this season. He spent three years on loan at Atletico Madrid.
