Christina Aguilera takes a stand for women unwilling to step aside and stay quiet on the newly released "Fall in Line" with Demi Lovato. As we previously reported, on Wednesday, the industry vet continued to mark her ongoing comeback with an empowering new track featuring the former Disney darling. Despite singing, "It's just the way it is / And maybe it's never gonna change", Xtina and Demi aren't sitting silently and follow that line up with, "But I got a mind to show my strength / And I got a right to speak my mind".
Noting that working with Aguilera was a check off her bucket list, Lovato also tweeted about their song, sharing a snippet of the track and writing, "I hope you love this song as much as I do". You're truly a GEM, I have huge love & respect for you! "It's such an honor to lend my voice to this anthem for women with one of the most inspiring individuals I've ever met". "I nearly cried when I first heard her on the record".
Christina Aguilera recently returned with the Kanye West-produced "Accelerate", and while it was fun to hear her experiment with a clubby banger, her famous powerhouse vocals didn't get a ton of room to breathe. And based on what we're hearing so far, this album will be a go-to for women across the globe. "They should be seeing Mommy live her best life". I've always been a fan of his music....
"Once again, I found myself in that place where I'm being told what to do, what's going to be acceptable or unacceptable, what's OK or not OK", she says.
