Second, story details. Rage 2's post-apocalypse comes courtesy of an asteroid that's wiped out 80 percent of the world's population. It looks quite a bit more colorful than the previous Rage, at the very least. This week it has all been confirmed and today we have a new gameplay trailer. Driving might not be the first thing that you think of when you see a first-person shooter, but its importance can't be understated, especially when it comes to Rage. "RAGE 2 brings together a true open world FPS experience where you can go anywhere, shoot anything, and explode everything". While it is hard to draw a conclusion from just this one series of scenes, the clip immediately shows that Rage 2 has more character and tries to be more charming than its predecessor.
The clock hands were pointing at 5:14 and the face of the clock had a blob of pink paint on it. It is also familiar with post-apocalyptic settings having developed Mad Max. Bethesda then teased fans for a few days before giving the official announcement yesterday.
A shortened version of the teaser trailer appeared as a pre-roll advert on YouTube. Soon, the company will show off a gameplay trailer of what to expect when it finally hits.
Firstly, as expected RAGE 2 will launch on Xbox One, PS4 and PC as evidenced by boxart for each platform.
They also tweeted "See the gameplay trailer tomorrow, even if it leaks early".
Unlike other recent Bethesda revivals of iD Software shooters, such as Doom and Wolfenstein, a Nintendo Switch version has not been announced.
