After rolling out the new 2017 Ford EcoSport in India previous year, Ford has now introduced the all-new EcoSport Signature Edition along with EcoSport S variant in India.

Ford India has now revived the 1.0-litre, three-cylinder, turbocharged petrol, EcoBoost engine with the launch of the EcoSport S with a sunroof.

The signature edition is a version that fills between the Titanium and the Titanium Plus edition of the premium mini SUV.

The Ford EcoSport Signature Edition receives the same 1.5-litre "Dragon Series" Petrol engine. The Signature Edition gets different 17-inch alloy wheels, Anodised Blue exterior, and special Signature badging with all-black interiors and contrasting blue stitching. The 1.5 petrol has a fuel efficiency of 17 kmpl. The Signature Edition will get a chrome surround on the front grille, Diamond cut 17-inch alloy wheels, black fog-lamp bezel, a rear spoiler, roof rails and body graphics and a sunroof. Stepping inside the cabin, the EcoSport S features orange accents on the seats as well as instrument panel for youthful touch. The diesel engine, on the other hand, is a 1.5L TDCi diesel motor tuned to churn out maximum power of 100 PS. The interiors of the compact SUV will continue the dual-tone theme seen outside, with elements on the centre console, doors and seats getting a contrasting finish.

The EcoSport S variant receives an eight-inch touchscreen (capacitive) infotainment system with the latest SYNC3 system with voice recognition, mobile connectivity compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

"In line with our Feels like Family Promise, we are committed to meeting diverse needs of our customers and act on their feedback". The addition of Sunroof, a feature that customers have been demanding, and world-renowned EcoBoost engine technology, is an example of their commitment. Deliveries are slated to start from today itself as many Ford dealers have already received the new variants of the compact SUV.
