Windows 10 BSOD risk led to Spring Creators Update delay, reveals Microsoft

Build 17133 is how Microsoft refers to the Spring Creators Update, as even though it was expected to launch on April 10, it still hasn't been officially named.

Last year, Microsoft said it planned to deploy two major Windows 10 updates per year, every April and September.

Where the Windows 10 solution differs is allowing users to incorporate other applications into the tabbed interface of a single app.

The Blue Screen of Death is a fatal system error, which has blighted various versions of Windows since the early days, and requires a restart to resolve. Wider support for FIDO2 passwordless logins will roll out with the next Windows 10 update. While I'm sure Microsoft doesn't want you to avoid Windows Updates, cough cough, the feature updates are kind-of the blank slates that get updated, so it's probably for the best that they meet a certain level of stability.

"This just reinforces that Windows Insiders are critical to helping us find and fix issues before releasing feature updates to all our customers", the Insider team adds.

"Dragging between a Sets window and a standalone Microsoft Edge window does not yet work".

Roaming usage info will appear as soon as Windows 10 users start using roaming data.

This feature promises to be a crucial addition given the sheer number of convertible machines and always-connected notebooks coming to the market.

"You can upgrade your PC to Windows 10 version 1803 by joining the Windows Insider program, however, Microsoft has always recommended users to avoid the insider builds on primary PCs due to the driver compatibility issues and bugs, so it's better to wait". Microsoft has decided against fixing the bug in a repackaged final update and has released a new beta build instead.
