Mariah Carey Ex-Manager Claims Breach Of Contract, Details Emerge

According to The Blast, the episode is among several that may become part of Carey's legal battle with her former manager Stella Stolper (a.k.a. Stella Bulochnikov).

As we reported, Stella Bulochnikov (AKA Stella Stolper) recently filed documents in NY ahead of a possible lawsuit against the songstress for breach of contract.

Bulochnikov is reportedly seeking damages and interest, alleging that she is owed money because she was sacked in the middle of a three-year contract.

A representative for Carey has disputed claims made by Bulochnikov, telling Page Six that the manager was sacked because she failed to do her job "effectively". Stella was not under agreement for the employment. The representative also decried the way Bulochnikov has been spreading "false rumors" to the media, adding that Carey's team wouldn't respond to those "lies and threats". A rep for the singer told the gossip site that "if this frivolous and baseless claim is filed, we will defend against it vigorously and successfully". "It is also intriguing to be aware this could be the very first lawyer who will proceed on Stella's behalf, with been by others that wouldn't".

Bulochnikov was sacked by Carey in November 2017.
