Mumbai: Salman Khan starrer "Bharat" has been in the news for the casting of its actresses, mainly Priyanka Chopra.

Khan wrapped up work on Race 3 as expected, and then proceeded to surprise everyone by beginning shooting for Ali Abbas Zafar's Bharat, which is slated to be released on Eid in 2019. The video for obvious reasons (Salman Khan pulling it off at the age of 50) went viral and has a collective view count of over 62k across social media.

Priyanka and Salman featured in a two-hero film "Mujhse Shaadi Karogi" and now if the news is true, it will be interesting to see them in a two-heroine film.

Ali Abbas Zafar has previously directed Salman in Ek Tha Tiger and Sultan. This is what Ali Abbas Zafar wrote on Twitter, "Look bhai Salman Khan, what I found from Sultan training session #backflip at 2 am in the morning". He underwent rigorous training for both his older and younger looks in the film. However, they finalised to have both Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif on board for the movie.

Ali Abbas Zafar, best known for films such as Mere Brother Ki Dulhan and Gunday, was quite busy scouting locations for Bharat recently. The film will show the incidents happened during the time in India through leading hero Salman's point of view.

Bharat, which is an official remake of South Korean film, An Ode to My Father is a story of a man who gets separated from his family during the Korean War.

As of now, Salman Khan is the only actor cast in Bharat.
