The Utah Jazz guard is set to play in Game 2 on Wednesday after the MRI on his left foot came back negative, league sources told ESPN's Chris Haynes.

The Utah Jazz got off to a rocky start in their playoff campaign this year, losing to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday in Game 1 of the two teams' first-round encounter, 116-108.

It was his first playoff game with the Thunder since being acquired in a trade with the in in the offseason. And we can not blame him.

Prior to suffering the injury, Mitchell played spectacularly for the Jazz. "He went to pick-and-roll and he made a couple more, and then we tried to take him and he passed the ball". Everything that we know right now, he's fine.

Utah doesn't expect George to keep making those tough shots.

The rest of the series may depend on how effective Mitchell can be.

"I just stubbed my toe", Mitchell said post-game. In addition, Rudy Gobert scored 14 points and seven rebounds, while Joe Ingles and Jae Crowder each added 13 for the Jazz.

Mitchell hurt his toe in the second half that forced him to leave the contest temporarily because of left foot soreness.
