There were so many exciting things in this new TV Spot! Elsewhere, we're treated to some alternate dialogue from Woody Harrelson's Tobias Becket when he invites Han into the game that will forever change his life.
In addition to this initial introduction, we get to see some of the snarky interchanges between the two best friends that we have come to expect over the years.
We are, of course, referring to Han and Chewbacca, otherwise known as the galaxy's greatest double act.
There a number of high flying action scenes with the Falcon evading Imperial tie fighters. Either Chewie just has the worst possible poker face, or the pair may be trying to scam whoever Han is playing by making him think the cards are bad when they're not.
Chewie's sad cry in The Force Awakens will probably only seem more painful as we take this look back in time at the early part of their friendship, so soon after witnessing the end of it.
I'll be honest, when I saw the first trailer for Solo: A Star Wars Story I was far from sold, and while I'm still not completely convinced this movie is going to work, the more I see of it, the more comfortable I'm getting with it.
Solo: A Star Wars Story hits theaters on May 25, 2018. Through a series of daring escapades deep within a dark and unsafe criminal underworld, Han Solo befriends his mighty future copilot Chewbacca and meets the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian, in a journey that will set the course of one of the Star Wars saga's most unlikely heroes. That being said, Ron Howard and Lucasfilm really seem like they have been paying attention to the Star Wars fans and have made something with a lot of depth and Easter Eggs for the hardcore fan.
