The family is shaken with the sudden demise of the actor and have chose to perform the final rites in Wada itself, where they were holidaying. Also, he said that "He had no health issues and last night (Tuesday) he was fine". The actor gave some brilliant performances in recent films like "Haider", "Raees", "Kaabil" to name a few.

Narendra Jha was at his farmhouse when he died. He sat with me on the grass and we ate dinner together from one plate. He got heart attack today early morning while he was at his farmhouse. He was born on 2 September in Bihar's Madhubani area. And now I'm hearing he passed away this morning.

The actor was best known for playing supporting roles in Bollywood - he played the role of the gangster Musa Bhai in Shah Rukh Khan's Raees, Srinagar based doctor Hilaal Meer in Haider and that of a cop in Hrithik Roshan's action thriller Kaabil.

The last dialogue we ever heard Narendra say on-screen was: "Life is unpredictable". The actor had shot most of his parts for both the films, which means the two movies will go down as his last work in the Indian film industry. He had also signed a film titled Priceless which stars Huma Qureshi and Rajkummar Rao but the project hasn't gone on floors as of now. "Yes! But what good is it to say this to me if you don't write about it", Narendra once said again reminding me of the chasm that existed between critical perception and public acknowledgement. Sonu Sood tweeted, "That's so sad".

Rahul Dholakia, who directed Raees, tweeted: "Gosh!" Rest in peace my friend.
