The CIES Football Observatory have released their latest set of player transfer values and Mohamed Salah's has skyrocketed after a superb debut season.
His variety of goals and neat finishes have clearly been at the heart of his skyrocketing transfer value, which has increased more than the likes of Ederson Moraes, Leroy Sane and Gabriel Jesus, who sit behind Salah in the list.
The 25-year-old, who has been arguably the best player in the English top flight this season, joined the Reds at the beginning of the current campaign from Serie A side Roma, and has flourished ever since.
According to the CIES Observatory statistic experts, Salah's transfer value has increased from €88.1m to a staggering €162.8m. "This unique widget presents the trends since last summer", CIES said on its website.
The Germany worldwide has scored 12 goals through 39 matches this season for a Man City side that has a 13-point lead atop the Premier League, as well as a game in hand.
