Reports from ESPN's Adam Schefter and Jeff Darlington indicate that National Football League veterans Adrian Peterson and Ndamukong Suh will soon be without teams.
The Arizona Cardinals will part ways with running back Adrian Peterson on Monday, according to 98.7 FM Arizona's Sports Station's Mike Jurecki.
Schefter reports Peterson is due a $750,000 bonus this week if he remains on the Cardinals roster.
The 32-year-old appeared in four games with the Cardinals last season before being placed on injured reserve with a neck injury in December.
Before joining the Cardinals, Peterson played four games with the Saints. Whether Peterson wants to return as a backup remains to be seen.
The Cardinals have David Johnson, Bronson Hill, Elijhaa Penny, T.J. Logan and Darius Victor as running backs under contract for next season.
Peterson rushed for more than 1,200 yards in seven of his 10 seasons with the Minnesota Vikings, including a career-best 2,097 in his MVP campaign in 2012.
