Android 8.0 Oreo update schedule posted by Samsung Turkey.

Verizon users were among the first to see their phones receive the Android 8.0 update, and T-Mobile subscribers weren't far behind. Since it is a major software update, users are recommended to make sure that their device has sufficient charge and space before initiating the installation process. Hopefully, the update will be rolled out to all the regions before the end of this current month.

Considering that the Galaxy Note 8 was released six months ago with Android 7.1 Nougat.

According to a report by The Android Soul, the update is available in two firmware versions which include version v2.19.400.1 that comes with a size of 1.32GB and the other one with version number v2.19.709.2 that comes with a size of 1.58GB. And there's nothing else being mentioned in the changelog apart from "system enhancements", so it seems like there won't be much advancements to the Oreo update.

Motorola first confirmed its intention to bring Oreo to the Z2 Force back in September, and updates initially started going out in December.

If you have already received the Oreo update on you Sony Xperia R1 or Xperia R1 Plus smartphone, do let us know about the changes in the comment section.

There was also a limited variant of HTC U Ultra with 128GB storage and Sapphire Glass was launched in India in March 2017. After that, follow all basic instructions to install the update to your device. Just go to the Apps menu and launch the Settings app. Scroll down and select About Phone option. Then click on the Check for the new update manually option given there.

Motorola may be in the middle of a big staffing shake-up, but that's not stopping the company from keeping up with the flow of software updates for its existing hardware. If the update is available, it will show you right there and you will be able to download it and upgrade your device manually with the update.
