"Phantom Thread" costume designer Mark Bridges won both an Oscar and a Jet Ski at the 90th Academy Awards.

Kimmel had the jet ski brought out on stage early in the Oscars, explaining that it was an incentive for winners to keep their acceptance speeches short because "this is a really long show".

That free jet ski Oscars host Jimmy Kimmel promised for the victor with the shortest victory speech went to costume designer Mark Bridges.

Watch Kimmel present the jet ski - with an assist from actress Helen Mirren - and award it to Bridges above, via ABC.

Keep it short and sweet and take home a brand new jet ski for your cooperation.

Numerous winners, including Jordan Peele (winner of best original screenplay for "Get Out"), jokingly mentioned the Jet Ski as they began their speeches.

The victor of the jet ski - and the Days Inn stay - was Mark Bridges, who won an Oscar for costume design for his work on "Phantom Thread" and delivered his acceptance speech in just 36 seconds.

As the ceremony closed, Bridges got on the Jet Ski with his Oscar in hand and Helen Mirren sitting behind him.

His mercifully short, 30-second acceptance speech can be seen in the video below.
