Although the Incredibles 2 trailer is a little short on action sequences, it does give us a wonderful look at the true Most Valuable People (MVP) in the family: parents.
In the new film, Elastigirl (Holly Hunter) takes over superheroing duties, leaving Bob Parr aka Mr. The youngest member of the Parr family will play a big role in the movie. "You know that at the end of the first movie when he comes up and you see the family dressed as superheroes, well that's where start this movie". Incredible (Craig T. Nelson) is left at home to take care of the kids, Violet, Dash and Jack-Jack. Previously, Disney had released a short teaser back in November which focused on Mr Incredible discovering baby Jack-Jack's epic superpowers.
You can check out the brand new trailer above! Their mission is derailed, however, when a new villain emerges with a brilliant and unsafe plot that threatens everything.
This time too, the Incredibles family teams up with Frozone to fight The Underminer. No, it's obviously the Incredibles 2 trailer where Elastigirl becomes the superhero of the moment as Mr Incredible puts in some very strenuous hours at home. Catherine Keener and Isabella Rosellini also voice new characters, and Bird himself returns as superhero fashion icon Edna Mode. Not to mention, there was that one really bad Fantastic Four film.
Directed and written by Brad Bird, who returns following the 2004 original, Incredibles 2 is set for release on 13 July in the United Kingdom, 15 June in the US.
