Five women accuse James Franco of sexual harassment

He has denied sexual impropriety, telling Stephen Colbert on Tuesday that claims on Twitter were "not accurate".

Sarah Tither-Kaplan, who called out the actor for wearing a Time's Up pin at the Golden Globes, told the LA Times that she took part in a nude orgy scene with a number of other actresses on Franco's film The Long Home.

Franco, 39, taught acting classes at other studios before opening up Studio 4, a bi-coastal acting school, which closed a few years back. Here's a list of some of the people who have been accused.

Again, the book is a work of fiction but the excerpts are being read in a new light now that Franco has been accused of sexual harassment.

"Why is a man hosting?"

It's been a long week for actor James Franco. He also talked about Ally Sheedy's tweets on Sunday, during the Golden Globes, hinting that Franco's conduct helps explain why she left show business. But screenshots still managed to circulate as actress Violet Paley tweeted another accusation. Paley also alleged on Twitter that he told her 17-year-old friend to meet him in a hotel - not unlike the 2014 incident in which he tried to pick up a 17-year-old girl on Instagram.

In 2014, he began an exchange on Instagram with a 17-year-old British girl he'd met in NY. So I don't want to, you know, shut them down in any way. "Times up on that!"

CNN has reached out to the three women for comment. None responded except Paley, who declined to comment for the time being.

Franco's attorney denied the allegations on behalf of his client. But now, besides the 2014 story that is gaining new light, five former students who worked with the actor-director are coming forward with their own stories of alleged abuse. With Kelly and Michael to apologize. "I guess I'm just letting it be". But in Franco's case, the show of support sparked criticism online from a number of women who claimed Franco had sexually harassed them.

A fifth woman, Violet Paley, who had previously spoke out against him on Twitter, said that she met Franco in early 2016 and began a consensual sexual relationship with him that turned into him pressuring her to perform oral sex on him while sitting in a vehicle. "I don't know. I really don't".

"I feel there was an abuse of power, and there was a culture of exploiting non-celebrity women, and a culture of women being replaceable" Tither-Kaplan told the Times. During his segment, the 127 Hours and Pineapple Express star said, "I pride myself on taking responsibility for things that I have done".

"James actually held a dinner for all of the nominated actors, and we all came together", he told a reporter.

"We have verified that no complaints about Mr. Franco have come in on The Deuce production", HBO said in a statement to Deadline.

"Like I said, the way I live my life, I can't live if there's restitution to be made". "I will fix it - I have to". I have to. I mean, I think that's how that works. I don't know what else to do.

"Look: I was so excited to win, but being in that room that night was incredible". Do you know why, and do you have a response? She says he did not respond but they later spoke via phone. I am here to listen and to learn.
