Jennifer Lawrence was going to attend the after parties following the 2018 Golden Globes as her best friend Emma Stone's date, but they chose to bail halfway through her hair and makeup process! Stone, victor of best actress in a musical or comedy last year for "La La Land", was up for the same award this year for "Battle of the Sexes" and went to the ceremony with tennis icon Billie Jean King, who she played in the movie.
"You had told me that you wanted me to be your date to the afterparties", Lawrence explained to an off-camera Stone, looking (and sounding) dejected and resigned to her fate. Further proving just how solid their friendship is, Lawrence completely laughed it off when Stone canceled their plans to go to the Golden Globes after-parties at the last minute.
Since scoring a surprise Oscar nomination in 2011 for her performance in "Winter's Bone", Louisville native Jennifer Lawrence has pretty much been a fixture at Hollywood awards ceremonies, this decade.

Apparently, J.Law was supposed to be Stone's date for the after-parties, but Emma, who was nominated for her portrayal of Billie Jean King in Battle of the Sexes, decided she wanted to hang out at Jen's house instead.
"We both had the same stalker". Can you warm up the orchestra for me? "He's just this guy who has a lot of people's phone numbers", Stone said in an interview for.
"As she was driving to my house, she thought, "Oh, my God, what if it's John the Orchestra Guy?'" Stone smiled, recalling their first meeting". I wasn't. And we met. What if this wasn't Emma after all, but a trap from John the Orchestra Guy? "It's our adorable love story". "You still look wonderful", someone else added.
