The pair repeated the same questions and answers a few times before an excited Jimmy asked: 'You're doing the Halftime Show at the Super Bowl?' Three time Grammy award victor P!nk will sing this year's Star Spangled Banner.

The NFL announced Monday that Pink will sing the national anthem before Super Bowl LII on February 4 in Minneapolis. It made sense for the league to grab a big name star and for the star herself to partner with the NFL.

Lady Gaga performed at last year's Super Bowl halftime show after Adele revealed that she turned down the offer.

She will join other stars like Luke Bryant, Idina Menzel, Alicia Keys and Lady Gaga who have performed the kick off song for the NFL's biggest games.

It'll be her second of three Twin Cities performances in the new year.

Previous stars to receive the honour of singing the anthem include Luke Bryan, who sang past year, Lady Gaga, Idina Menzel, Alicia Keys, Billy Joel, Diana Ross, Neil Diamond, Beyoncé, Cher, Whitney Houston, and Mariah Carey.

According to Dan Hanzus of, the singer will perform the national anthem before the championship clash. It'll be his third time performing, and follows on from his infamous performance in which he accidentally exposed Janet Jackson's breast.

Interesting enough Timberlake and P!NK have toured before as part of a previous tour for one of Timberlake's albums.
