Experience could be the Atlanta Falcons' big edge as the only team in the NFC playoffs for the second straight year.

Los Angeles Rams quarterback Jared Goff loosens up while preparing to play the Atlanta Falcons during an NFL football wild-card playoff game Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018, in Los Angeles. Still, it's something that could potentially derail their Super Bowl run.

After showing impressive poise against the Rams, Atlanta will play next Saturday's divisional round game at Philadelphia. "We want to make noise while we're here, so this is what it's all about". PFF previews the top player matchups of this win-or-go-home game.

The Eagles last faced the Falcons in a November 2016 regular-season matchup and won by a score of 24-15. The Eagles lost in Atlanta to the Falcons 14-13 in the Wild Card Round way back in 1978, which was Dick Vermeil's first playoff game as a head coach.

Atlanta's improved defense held the NFL's highest-scoring offense to one touchdown.

Matt Bryant converted the field goal three plays later and the Falcons jumped out to an early 3-0 lead.

There's been no shortage of talk about the Rams' lack of playoff experience this week.

It's going to sting for a while for the Rams and for their fans, both in St. Louis and Los Angeles, because the wounds are still fresh and there won't be any more games until August. "We've been tested. I thought we've come through the fires to the other side together as one brotherhood".
