The Danish webshop Coolshop has displayed correct release dates of other titles in the past, including Grand Theft Auto V's November 2014 date. Not everyone believed them, but it turned out they were right.
"Red Dead Redemption" fans may have just found out just how long they need to wait until the highly anticipated sequel arrives.
"Red Dead Redemption 2 is now set to launch Spring 2018 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One". As always, it's important to take this revelation with a grain of salt, as leaks like these aren't to be taken as gospel until Rockstar Games makes an official announcement.
Now, a retailer may have possibly revealed the Red Dead Redemption 2 release date.
The retailer initially listed Red Dead Redemption 2 for a June 8, 2018 release, which is slightly beyond what most people think of when hearing spring. Rockstar confirmed in October of previous year that it was developing a sequel to Red Dead Redemption which was released back in 2010. This time it'll focus on an outlaw named Arthur Morgan, and Sony has a timed exclusivity agreement for "some" online content on PS4. For the game to actually be released then, we should be seeing more of a media presence for the game, with tangible marketing materials rolling out in the coming months.
However, this information is not officially confirmed by the developers, and therefore should treat it accordingly. However, the first was a brief teaser that mainly focused on the luscious environments within the game. Don't forget though, all this talk of Read Dead Redemption II's release date is all speculative at this point.
