Greenville police on Thursday responded to two separate purse snatching incidents, one in the Haywood Mall parking lot and another in the 700 block of Woodruff Road.

Bragg said officers were setting up a perimeter and searching for the suspect.

Highway Patrol troopers stopped a vehicle that police believe may have been used in the armed robberies at the Kangaroo at Highway 14 and Woodruff Road, Lentz said.

Superior Police are investigating a robbery that took place in the early morning hours of Saturday, December 24 around 3:45 a.m at the Holiday gas station at 21st and Tower Avenue.

Two masked men forced their way into a home on East 11th Street.

The first suspect is a black male last seen wearing dark trousers and a light-colored sweatshirt or coat and running west on 11th street toward Lawrence Street.

Police officers looked for the men in the neighborhood, talked to residents and canvassed the area for any leads or information. "Both suspects fled on foot in an unknown direction". Crime Stoppers offers up to a $5,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest.
